A lasting legacy: GES4SEAS open-access book on cumulative pressures and climate change
GES4SEAS is proud to share the publication of its open-access book, Understanding the Response of Ecosystems to Increasing Human Pressures and Climate Change – Management Options, now available through Frontiers in Marine Science and Frontiers in Ocean Sustainability.
This publication marks the fulfilment of one of the project’s core objectives — to bring together global expertise on the impacts of cumulative pressures and climate change on marine ecosystems and explore innovative management solutions.
Over the past two years, researchers from GES4SEAS, sister projects, and the broader international scientific community have contributed to this effort. The result is a comprehensive collection of 27 peer-reviewed papers, now compiled into a freely accessible book available as both PDF and eBook.
More than a milestone, this book represents a long-term legacy for the project — a resource that will continue to support scientists, policymakers, and marine managers in understanding and addressing the combined effects of human and environmental pressures on our seas.
