The project kicks off

The kick-off meeting for  Horizon Europe project GES4SEAS is taking place this week.

Developing tools that help managers making decisions to achieve good environmental status on European seas requires solutions that are co-designed and co-created with different stakeholders. This week has been focused on getting familiar with the project and working together to make sure that the final toolbox is flexible, compliant, and features all the important needs of those who will use it.

It has been amazing to gather most of the partners and actors involved in this project to discuss the plan for this 4-year project to successfully develop a toolbox useful for marine managers.

Stay tuned for more insights of the outcomes of this first project meeting!
