Unlocking EU Funding Opportunities:

A Collaborative Seminar for ECRs

GES4SEAS is pleased to announce an upcoming online seminar tailored for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in environmental science, entitled “EU Grants Landscape for ECRs: How to Get in the Game”. This informative session is scheduled for May 7th, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM CET, focusing on navigating the European funding landscape, particularly Horizon EU and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) grants.

This seminar is designed to equip ECRs, including MSc students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and assistant professors, with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully engage in EU-funded projects. Participants will receive expert guidance on preparing competitive grant applications to enhance their prospects of securing crucial funding.

The session will feature insights from distinguished speakers such as Professor Jacob Carstensen, OBAMA-NEXT coordinator, who will discuss strategies for getting involved in EU grants and navigating the application process.
